Here are a few snaps from Blaenavon World Heritage Day 2011 on Saturday 25 June. This was my second experience of the town. The busy atmosphere was a huge contrast to my first site visit in April. Lots of local folk and visitors were out to enjoy fairground rides, games, performances & more. Thanks to everyone who approached me & had read the blog…it was great to meet you. As these snapshots reflect I am still on the fringes, observing what’s going on. I would really like to get to know more Blaenavon folk especially potential collaborators and local characters.
