Assistants
I met my new assistant Louise Hobson today. Louise is a volunteer at Ffotogallery and about to enter her final year in Documentary Photography at University of Wales, Newport. She is a keen Hasselblad user and is looking forward to learning how to use a Bowens lighting kit.
My first assistant Andrew Rafferty arrives on Sunday. Andrew is taking two weeks off his day job as a chemist to help with the project. As my long term partner he understands my working methods and really enjoys the practical aspects of setting up shoots. Projects he’s been involved in include last summer’s Menie project.
