A week back in Scotland…
The blog is quiet this week as I’m back in Scotland for work until 7 August.
Edinburgh is buzzing as the Festivals start to kick off. Tonight I’m going to the Edinburgh International Festival Visual Arts openings. Hiroshi Sugimoto curated by Simon Groom at Gallery of Modern Art Two and Heirlooms at Dovecot. The historical part of this exhibition was curated by Jonathan Hope and Ben Divall.
I’ve had a sneak preview of the Sugimoto exhibition already and it’s absolutely mind blowing. I also photographed some of the Late 16th and early 17th century Indian ceremonial cloths for the Heirlooms show in January of this year… looking forward to seeing them on display.
